CHARITY WORK
For 2007/2008 we are raising money for The Insurance Charities and The Meningitis Trust. Please click on the names to access the charities websites.
The Cheltenham Circular Challenge: 24th June 2007.
David Kaye is a member of our institute and the author
of
the CII textbook 655 - Operational Risk. He is also a member of the Rotary Club
of Cheltenham Cleeve Vale; the organisers of the Cheltenham Circular
Challenge. The event is a series of four fun and healthy fundraising walks high
over the escarpment above Cheltenham and around the valleys and villages back to
the start point at the Racecourse. Walkers can choose one of four very different
short walks; or for those who wish to take on the full challenge, the
combination of all four make a beautiful and challenging circular walk of full
26 mile marathon length. The CII may find it a useful social event for their
members to raise money for charity of your choice.
The walk is now 12 years old and has raised in excess of £200,000 for mostly
